About Me

I specialize in package and brand design, promotion and branding strategy. As a designer, I find that my foundation for creativity lies in my eagerness to effectively and creatively problem solve. Brainstorming, exploration of typography and color are the cornerstones of my approach to any project.

In the area specific to packaging, my experience spans from design to production. I have a deep understanding of marketing strategies, marketing trends and competitive environment, as well as the various methods and production materials that are integral to the design process. 

My professional experience outside of the design arena:
Prior to beginning my formal education in design (Masters degree from Pratt Institute) I worked on the trading floor at an investment bank in New York City assisting the foreign currency and US interest rate strategy teams. This experienced sharpened my communication skills, ability to think quickly, as well as work collaboratively and efficiently. 

Professionally I am energized by fast paced environments but also enjoy working in more relaxed atmospheres. As a member of any professional team, I work well with others but also love to take the ball and run with it. 

Presently, I am looking to leverage my diverse educational and professional background with my skills and experience as a designer.
